Through NightOwls, Lee and I have met so many lovely people and we wanted to share a little bit about us and our journey.

We were married 5 years ago at the beautiful Elm Hurst Inn, in Ingersoll, but we started counting the years 16 years prior. Although we have held management positions at one of the largest international franchises, we have always balanced work, with ownership of our own companies – often burning the candle at both ends.
We were fortunate enough to work with the Cancer Society of Owen Sound, as the sponsors/owners/organizers of The Women’s Expo. There, we were able to showcase businesses that directly impacted women battling cancer, and in one way or another, maybe only for a moment, made life, a little happier. Vendors, sponsors, and guests helped raise money that we were able to donate to the pink ribbon program. We continue to be interested in local events, fund-raising, and generally trying to make a difference in our community, at least in some small way.
Our next two projects: Contributing to Women’s Community House by collecting coats and clothes for children and mothers, and raising money for the London East Humane Society – they need air conditioning badly!
I have been a DZ truck driver for over 15 years, a baseball coach for the past 5, a volunteer for Victim Services, and now, onto another new and exciting path – all in the attempt to join the London Police Services.
Lee, has always worked in management, while studying to be a teacher. This past May, I am proud to announce, that she completed her Honours Specialization in English Literature and Language (I think I got that right) from the University of Western Ontario, and was offered admittance to Althouse/Faculty of Education for this September. She will be qualified to teach grades 7 to 12 and is over the moon about it!
I am a pretty hard core Habs fan – through and through! And Lee is not only a lover of the theatre, but is often on stage too.
Like most, our paths have wiggled and turned, and we’ve had ups and downs, but we have managed to maintain a strong marriage and an even stronger friendship. Thanks to an amazing team of drivers, and the awesome customers, that we now call friends, Lee and I would like to thank you for your support for all the things we do.
